During today’s press conference at the Busch stadium we found out additional details about soccer match Bosnia and Herzegovina vs. Argentina.
As previously mentioned, match is conditional and it’s dependent on Bosnian team qualifying for World Cup. In reality situation looks like this; Bosnian team as of right now is leading group G with the same number of points as Greece but with better goal difference and better result in dual matches (draw in Greece and win in Bosnia), with two more games to be played. On October 11th, 2013 Bosnia will face Lichtenstein at home, and four days later Lithuania away. Expectations are that Bosnians will cruise through remaining two matches and qualify for WC as a leaders of the group.
Due to the scheduling of the Baseball playoffs and the availability of both national soccer teams, organizers chose Monday as a game day; “so when people come from out of town, they can come to St. Louis over the weekend and spend the weekend here, and also look forward to Monday for the big game.” Game was originally planned for Tuesday the 19th, but it was moved later on. Kick off is at 7:30PM.
Video from today’s press conference at the Busch stadium:
Tickets are going on sale for general public on Thursday, October 10th, at 10:00AM. Pre-sale for St. Louis Cardinals season ticket holders starts two days earlier on October 8th. Due to the concerns the St. Louis Cardinals will limit pre-sale purchase to 8 tickets per season ticket holder with use of one time code that they will not be able to share. There is a hope that such rule will leave plenty of tickets for the general public. Tickets start from as low as $40. We will have link to the purchasing website up on our site as soon as it is available to us.
Due to the event date being so close and the fact that baseball playoff games will be played, St. Louis Cardinals opted out of option to separate parts of the stadium for groups of fans. It is recommended for any and all of the fan groups to purchase all the tickets they need at the same time for the section that they prefer..
