Roundtable Discussion: The Aftermath of Srebrenica

Elvir Ahmetovic, a native of Srebrenica and genocide survivor, currently works as a teacher at the Academy of Environmental Sciences and Mathematics for St. Louis Public Schools.

Benjamin Moore, Fontbonne University, Founder of the Bosnia Memory Project

Mersida Muratovic-Planic, came from Srebrenica to St. Louis as a refugee when she was a child. Ms. Muratovic-Planic provides public presentations about the Bosnian community and serves as a volunteer translator-interpreter.

Leila Nadya Sadat, Henry H. Oberschelp Professor of Law, Washington University, Director of the Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute, Director of the Crimes Against Humanity Institute, ICC Special Adviser on Crimes against Humanity and editor of Forging a Convention for Crimes Against Humanity (2011).

Sarah Wagner, George Washington University, author of To Know Where He Lies: DNA Technology and the Search for Srebrenica’s Missing (2008), and co-author with Lara Nettelfield of Srebrenica in the Aftermath of Genocide (2014).
