ACBH President, Ms. Mirzeta Hadzikadic and ACBH Honorary Board Member, Dr. Mirsad Hadzikadic attended a fundraising event for ACBH at the Georgian Club in Atlanta, GA where they had the opportunity to inform the guests about ACBH’s work and mission.

“On behalf of ACBH, I am very grateful to Mr. and Ms. Hasan and Daira Komic for organizing this event for ACBH and to everyone that attended and donated. We look forward to our continued partnership,” stated Ms. Hadzikadic.

On November 30, 2013, Bosnian Americans all across the U.S. came together to honor the centuries-old, multi-ethnic life of BiH and celebrate the country’s vibrant culture and institutions. Among notable guests were Mr. Hamdija Custovic, President of CNAB; Dr. Emir Suljagic, leader of the “Prvi Mart” civil society initiative; and ¬†Professor Emir Ramic, founder of the Institute for Research of Genocide, Canada.

“I would like to express my sincere¬†gratitude for the longstanding support that ACBH has received from this community. I am also glad to have had the opportunity to speak with all the community leaders and discuss ways in which we can all partner on mutual advocacy efforts,” stated Ms. Hadzikadic.

ACBH Executive Director, Ajla Delkic traveled to Florida where she participated in the festivities with the Bosnian American community in Jacksonville. “I am incredibly grateful to community leader Mr. Feriz Delkic for his generous contribution to ACBH and to the contribution and hospitality we received from Mr. Suad Tica, President of the Bosnian American Youth Association of North East Florida, community organizer Ms. Fuada Velic as well as all of the other volunteers who contributed to the success of this event. I was pleased to introduce the work of ACBH and we look forward to continuing to work with the Jacksonville community,” stated Ms. Delkic.
